Our Mission
Our mission here at HiloNaz is To be Changed by Christ, To Reach Our World, by Making Christlike Disciples here on the Big Island and Beyond.
We are part of the International Church of the Nazarene which is Global in its scope with pastors, missionaries, churches, schools, universities, hospitals, compassionate ministries centers and many more world wide.
The mission of the Church of the Nazarene is to make Christlike disciples in the nations.
We are a Great Commission church (Matthew 28:19-20). As a global community of faith, we are commissioned to take the Good News of life in Jesus Christ to people everywhere and to spread the message of scriptural holiness (Christlike living) across the lands.
The Church of the Nazarene bonds together individuals who have made Jesus Christ Lord of their lives, sharing in Christian fellowship, and seeking to strengthen each other in faith development through worship, preaching, training, and service to others. We strive to express the compassion of Jesus Christ to all persons along with our personal commitment to Christlike living.
Services
DURING THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC OUR ON-SITE SERVICES HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL WE ARE NOTIFIED BY OUR COUNTY, STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT THAT IT IS SAFE TO DO SO. WE ARE BEGINNING APRIL 5,2020 TO POST A VIDEO ON YOUTUBE ON SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AM. AT THIS TIME THE VIDEO WILL BE PRE-RECORDED AND CAN BE FOUND BY SEARCHING FOR HILONAZ HAWAII - HILO CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE.

Worship Services are held on Sunday Morning at 9:00 AM.
Worship Services are also held each Sunday Afternoon at 2:00 PM at the Life Care Center of Hilo, 944 W. Kawailani St. We meet in the 3rd floor dining room and you are welcome to join us as we minister to a diverse group of residents, staff, and visitors.

Hilo Nazarene Book Club is coming soon!!! Come join us as we read books that are useful for our spiritual maturity and encourage our walk with Christ.
Hilo Nazarene, Hale Aloha Nazarene School, and Connection Point Church invite you to a Labor Day cookout September 6th at 12. Come out and join us for a potluck and games at the Connection Point Church in Paradise Park.
This Week's Sermon
Last week we did not have a sermon or service due to the state requirement to stay at home. This week Pastor Ragle will be sharing on the Triumphal Entry of Jesus to Jerusalem. Pastor Ragle will be adding video sermons on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. You can also go the the Sermon Archive for audio sermons. We will also be posting sermons from the past year that are not in the archive over the next few weeks.
